Romantik-Pension Vogt is nestled between vineyards and forest on the outskirts of Offenburg. Offenburg is known as the gateway to the Black Forest for good reason, as it provides direct access to the heart of the Black Forest via the two valleys of the Rench and the Kinzig.
Offenburg is the ideal starting point for your holiday. The cities of Freiburg, Baden-Baden, and Strasbourg are quickly accessible by car, as is Europa-Park in Rust.

Europa-Park Rust

Triberg Waterfalls
A very special attraction is Germany’s highest waterfalls in Triberg. The waters of the Gutach river foam and roar as they plunge 163 m down into the valley over seven cascades. The waterfalls are illuminated in the evenings until approximately 10:00 PM and offer a fascinating sight.

Mummelsee / Black Forest High Road
The Mummelsee is located at over 1,000 m directly on the Black Forest High Road and is one of the most visited lakes in Baden-Württemberg. It is surrounded by steep, forested mountain slopes and invites you to go hiking, ride pedal boats, stroll through the souvenir shops, or dine in one of the two restaurants.

Strasbourg
Located just across the border in France is the medieval city of Strasbourg. It is the headquarters of the European Parliament and the Council of Europe. Strasbourg is famous for its picturesque old town, boat trips on the Ill—which run from the European Parliament to the historic quarters—the historic Strasbourg Cathedral, and its many museums and theaters.
